A NOTE FROM DORI........ :)
Hello! We are the new owners of Kellie's
Place. My name is Doria Lumpp and my business partner is Dan Berecek. When
we found out that Kellie and Paren were moving to North Carolina, we were so
sad to hear that the store might close. We had become regulars there for
the past 2+ years and probably like you, started to panic at the thought of
no more Kellie's Place. Our dog, Josey, looked forward to the weekly
shopping trip as much as we did!
After much thought, we decided that Kellie's
Place was something worth preserving. It is much more than a store. It is
a meeting place, a place to hang out with great people and their pets and a
place to share stories and advice. And it's also a place to find the very
best in foods and treats for our furry friends. We
look forward to continuing all that at the new location.
We are in the process of buying a place in
Brookfield, Ohio to house the new Kellie's Place. Located at 6969 Warren
Sharon Road, Brookfield, OH 44403 is a small brown house that we will
renovate into a store. It is conveniently located near the intersection of
State Route 7 and Old 82 (Warren Sharon Road). Just a few doors downhill
from The Belly Buster sub shop and Brookfield Gardens gift shop. We will be
starting out slowly and will have room to grow there. We are thinking it
will be mid June when we officially open for business. There is lots to do
to get ready and we are looking forward to it.
